Default I'm FUMING!

I just posted about my new 2004 Mach 1. I am SO upset!!! Some idiot took his half of the driveway along a main road so i had to squeeze in to get in the lot. The rear passenger tired rolled over the smaller part of the angle of the curve - no big deal, right? WRONG. Apparently, in the process it bounced and hit something that was there maybe a pole or something else that was there. The little triangular edge (sorry for lack of tech term) is outward a tiny bit now and it's got about a 1 inch section where the paint was rubbed off in the process, and above it it looks like when you scrape the bumper against a parking block. Should I go to a body shop? Is this a huge deal? Will I need a whole new rear bumper because of this piece? I don't care what it takes, this car is my baby. I'm so upset.

Sadly,

JG

I would have gone down the block and just taken the long route lol...

It just depends.. They may be able to repair the bumper and repaint that small area... But sometimes they just have to repaint the whole peice to make it look right

I just noticed it now, happened 1 night ago. The guy really didn't do anything than take up 3/4 of the lot's entrance. I'm going to find a pic of a 2004 mach 1 and photoshop to show what i'm talking about

Sorry, I'm just really freaking out at this point. This car means the world to me. Thanks to Mach1Registry, I found a good pic that I blew up a bit and tried to explain what I was trying to put to words, in photo form.

Quicktime,

I compared both sides. One side is completely flat, other side out.
