Just completed my slp xpipe/w magnaflow catback today, sounds absolutely awesome, a very good tuned sound, and WOT just screams, and the power difference is nice too.

Magnapacks with H pipe sounds good! Forget those guys that say straight thru = X pipe.

Im hopin that was just a crappy camera, cause for some reason that sounded waaaay different from the other magnapack setups. [&:]

I went with BBK and they make a decent header/ mid-pipe combo for not too much money. fitment was great too. but remember, there's no easy way to change those headers. if you're going to go through the trouble go with long tube headers. wishen i did. but you will have to go with a different mid pipe for long/short headers.

Actually, on americanmuscle. com, the magnapacks are goin for almost 600, on sale for 500. If i can find a borla catback for almost the same price, ill just go with that.

Looks like i got more research to do. To youtube!!

Goerge, don't forget to look around on classified sections of these sites too...my entire exhaust setup was bought for $275 (Catback was used, X pipe installed for 200 miles)

Ebay is your friend. I got my Magnapacks shipped to me for $325 brand new! And everybody has different opinions as to what sounds good. From the clips I've heard of Magnapacks w/ an H pipe it sounds awesome, much better than w/ an X IMO. I am going MRT O/R H pipe after hearing the clip that's a few posts above me.

I can definitely hear the difference between the Borla and the Magnapack catbacks. I'll have to see what the family mechanic says about passing me if i have an offroad H on.

Right now its a numbers game, i gotta see what the better deal is. And it wouldnt hurt to start saving up too.
