line lock is a cylinoid that when you push the botton, keeps the front brakes to whatever pressure you push the pedal to,

if you accuall try to do a burnout to heat up a set of slicks, you would keep it in drive, or in a manual, take off in 2nd or 3rd, to gain tire heat, your looking for wheel speed, if you just want smoke, you can put it in the trans gear limiter (1st) just dont hold it on the rev limiter,

do as many donuts as you like but it can be pretty hard on your limited slip diff. i have to replace the clutches in mine already. And try not to blow up the tires too, really hard on the rims.

you said u had to replace the clutches on yours already, so then how much stress would you have to put on ur car for that to happen? and also whats the rev limiter set to on the automatic from the factory?

I think it's around 5750 for factory redline. not sure if mine had a tune in it when i bought the car but it had no top speed limiter. 240+ kph. got 50k miles on the car. donuts are hard on your diff cause there's always way more weight on one wheel than the other

Woah...cant believe so many people say its ok to keep doing brakestands... It ruins virtually everything, your brakes will be toast. Tires will burn through quick. Our trak-loks arent exactly the strongest and they WILL go.... the planet and sun gears in the tranny will be ruined.. list goes on and on.... I think I did it once for like 4 seconds then said **** it..

thats why we have been telling him to buy a line lock to save the rear brakes,

as long as both tires are spinning evenly, the suregrip will be fine

tires..... your on your own
