Most power without nos or s/c
heys guys,i want to know what i can add to my car like bolton's, cams, gears, tune, possible stroker kits without adding a supercharger or nitrous. i wanna kno whats the most i can get out of my engine b4 a supercharger and nitrous. How much horsepower and torque would i b lookin at? And also it's an automatic.

i mean i kno superchargers are great and can give huge power gains, but i like the old fashion naturally aspirated v8 way. And also i wanna see what my engine is capable of without a supercharger.

You do not build a N/A motor to its max potential if you plan on boosting it later on. You either build it for max performance N/A with high compression, or a motor that won't run that well N/A with plans to boost it.
But it you want to build a max out N/A motor, Forged rotating assembly(to be able to turn the high rpms) then Heads/cam/intake full bolt ons will give you 300+, with no chance of ever putting boost on it.

To be honest with full bolt-on's you'll be hard pressed to get more then 350hp out of the motor. A number that is easily surpassed by a blower on a stock motor. (At 8PSI non-intercooled you'll see 360+ on a 93 octane tune)
that said....
Building a motor with forged internals is a great idea (no joke) before getting a blower or nitrous, this will allow you to run more boost or more juice to get more HP out of the motor.

You can expect no more than 400 RWHP, I think we have a RARE few with lots (10k+) invested with 340-360 rwhp... but that's really about it.

400 is out of the question w/o some sort of crazy *** 14:1 compression ratio/custom intake mani, etc.........
