X = raspy rice sound H= muscle car sound

Buy MAC or BBK no sence in spending big money for a name then going with longtubes a year or so down the road.

First off.... who says raspy is bad? Some people LOVE it.... And i will give you $100 if you can make a V8 mustang sound rice......... So here is the real comparison....

X=Exotic I see more people with X pipes than H....
H=Deeper muscle car sound but sometimes sounds truckish.

If you go with an offroad pipe there is really not that much difference in the sound.

All i can tell you that if you dont like an X-pipe then you havent listend to the mustang on YouTube. go there and in the search box type in "white mustang lx". It should be a 87-93 White Hatch, with white cobra r's. Sounds bad ***. One of the only 5.0's that i know that has an Xpipe.

As for the 4.6. Get a UPR X-pipe and 40 series Flowmasters. Great Combo. the flows will give you that distinct muscle car sound, but better flow due to the Xpipe.

I have the UPR O/R X with my stock mufflers. I get questions all the time about what type of exhaust I have. Most people don't believe me when I tell them the mufflers are stock, and the only change was the X pipe.
