Last night I was driving home with cruise control on and out of no where the car drops to almost an idle. I turned off cruise and the car ran normally, but when I tried to use theCC it wouldn't work. I got back home and popped the hood and found the CC cable was just hanging there, the little plastic fitting had busted and come off the throttle body. I'm guessing I'm going to have to order the part from Ford, but I am wondering if I can just order the plastic fitting or do I have to replace the whole cable?

You have to buy the whole cable. There not hard to change though.
