go to his site and click on media and you will see some pictures. Under where it says press, you will see a link forEdgeZ28's Feature. He has a website with interior pics of chris' car and you can clearly see it doesnt have mini tubs and is a stock interior

under media there were no interior pics, howere I did see them under the Z28 link. Maybe I wrong but I don't see how it fit without some sort of cutting. I'd bet that underneith those plastic pieces in the trunk is a bunch of hacked up crap. Also the pic of the nitrous bottle shows it sitting without the front of the bottle elevated, which is a huge no no.
I'm confused here, 1st you ask about hiding a nitrous bottle (for a sleeper look) now you are wanting to put 10" welds on your car, what gives? I know you were talking about 2 different cars, I'm refering to the 03. And back to my original question why worry about "trying" to fit a 10" wheel under your 85 when you may not need something that big?

why do you need a 10" wheel? You may be able to get the traction needed on an 8" wheel.
650HP on a drag car= blowing the tires off the line on an 8" rim. then i'd have to buy 6 wheels instead of 4. plus two more tires to go along with that. Thats about $650 i could spend somewhere else like ona nitrous kit.
just as there are people hooking with 1000+ hp cars and drag radials, there are people hooking with 600+ hp cars & slicks on 8" wheels. Suspension plays a huge part in drag racing, you can tune the suspension and get the benefits of a smaller tire.

Well to set the story straight because it is confusing. Chris Tuten is from SC and he races locally when not competing professionally. He runs nitrous when he grudge races. hes not allowed to run nitrous in Drag Radial. As for his bottle, i dunno.

My 85 mustang is currently being made into something like what Chris has except im starting off with a Supercharged 347 stroker, C4, 3500 stall, etc. I need a 10" rim underneath for maximum traction. It just works out to where when i want to put them on the 03, they will fit as well.

As for the 2003, I wanted nitrous really for a one time deal to race a couple of friends that talk alot of Sh**. I know i can beat them already, but i wanted to make it look extra bad by spraying the run. Dont need it really and never cared to use it. thought it would be cool to hide it in a place where NOBODY would think and that was behind the passenger air bag compartment.

okay. I had a friend with an SVO that had to mini tube his for 10" wheels. He did have a ladder bar setup and if you are looking for maximum traction may be the way to go. I just don't see how it could fit without some cutting, but like I said I may be wrong. What's the big deal with a mini tub anyways unless you are running in a class race that restricts them?

I may want to venture into NMRA competition. Im starting off small right now with the SC347. Like you said, certain classes have certain rules. Ive worked with back-half cars and even did my cousins S-10 that way. Its just alot of extra work i would have to do instead of just slapping a set of 26x10.5 slicks on the back. Chris is running 8.0's in the 1/4 and 5.50's in the 1/8th. Thats strolling for a stock suspension Mustang. Plus I might want to drive it on the street. Its just Easier!
