Tremec TKO 600. Go big or go home! [8D]

My procharger is real loud at idle (whistling sound) and it sounds like jet engine at WOT. When you let off/ switch gears it's a loudPSHH PSHH PSHH. The power is great too.

I am not sure the differences - i dont know what the kit has... but I have always liked the procharged cars more then any of the centri cars... but i would never trade my roots/twin screw type blower in for one... KB or Procharger...

Remember, I wouldn't run the boost over 10lbs either... and dont forget to start looking for a really good tuner, with blown cars - that makes ALL the difference.

Damn Adam, your about as indecisive as a woman

Just kidding man... good luck on modding the GT. If you go with the KB, if the kit doesnt already have all this... you will need injectors, boost-a-pump, intake if you don't already have it, and maybe a couple of other odds and ends.

The KB is a good choice, the procharger is too. If you like the whine, then you need to go with the KB. Procharger is more of a whistle than a whine. But now that you got all that power, your gonna want to upgrade your suspension a lil to hold that power and not just sit there and spin all day. Tires will help too if you want to track it or take it on the strip some. Very important here, make sure to get a great tune on the car. This is a make or break on it. Just go to a good shop and get a dyno tune and go from there. I'm sure theres a shop or two not too too far away from you.

Changing transmission is gonna be a big job so good luck with that. I don't really have any experience or great advice to share with you on that. Just make sure the one your getting is a good one and upgrade your clutch to something that can hold that power while your at it.

as far as supporting mods, youll need a fuel pump, spark plugs, injectors, maf, blower itself, and maybe a few other small things. your looking at 5500-6000 for a brand new kit, along with extra parts. im not gonna dog you for wanting a KB, but considering the money your paying for it, id say just get a centri blower, youll have the same power, for less. but just a thought.
Doesnt all that stuff come in the kit if you buy it that way?

What s/c would you guys recomend? Do they all whine pretty loud?

And GT03 TJS how do you like that mac catback? I am considering getting that.... How do they compare to flows?
yeah, kits come with everything. centri blowers don't whine, they whistle at idle and are virtually quiet under acceleration. twin screws and roots are the whiners.
