I actualy have a bbk h-pipew/hjigh flow cats and a borla stinger kit on my 1998 cobra conv. It has bbk long tubes as well. I dont know what kind of sound your looking for, but it gives the car an old school low,deep, muscle car sound. but when you mash the pedal It screams. I havnt heard one car on the road that sounds like it, and have been told that its the baddest eexhaust that they have ever heard on more than one occasion. Its a little pricey, but you cant go wrong with the stinger kit . but thats just my opinion for what its worth.

Mac.... It sounds exactly like stock... Just a little louder. I highly recomend X pipes now...

That's so weird man, almost everybody else I've heard say an aftermarket H pipe sounds 100x's better than stock especially if it's an O/R pipe. Check out the Magnapacks w/ Mac O/R H. Sorry to hear about that Adam. Thought for sure you would like it. My H is catted and my car sounds mean as hell. I don`t understand why yours doesn`t sound good. Post a sound clip if you can.

i luv the way my H pipe sounds, it added so much more sound than the X that i had. i have flows and they were way to raspy and drony with the X. i dont know how you figure that it sounds stock. my exhaust is almost as loud as my buddies with borla stingers and o/r x. nowhere near stock
