My car has been idling rough lately, bucks a bit sometimes when accelerating, and now I went from getting 20mpg to about 15... any thoughts? THANKS!!!

Could be misfiring. If you have wires spray some water on them and see if you can see any spark arcs or sudden changes in idle. Check plugs for excessive gap.

You should have a check engine light on though. The computer should pick up on misfires or bad 02 sensors. Unless its intermittent.

It's your coil packs or spark plug wires. I'm not sure what year your car is.

What year is your car?? depending on year you should have coil on plug ignition type...according to alot of TSB's most of the time its not a coil....check your plugs, wires (if you dont have COP) fuel filter, air filter, o2 sensors, also check your throttle blade...ford says you shouldnt clean them but sometimes you almost have to from all the carbon. depending on how many miles are oin yuor car you might want to do a tune up anyways....regular maintenance is a major role in keeping your car in good shape

also did this just all of a sudden happen? what was the last thing you did? mod wise or anything wise? bad tank of gas possibly even?
