Default My Clutch Problem (Update)

1st off... in December i bought a Spec Stage 1 Clutch and Spec Aluminum Flywheel from American Muscle. I took it to a well known shop around my area used by several people on this forum. They installed it. About 3 months later it started slipping i drove around with it slipping for 2 weeks. Finally took it in to a local shop down the street from me. When he called me today he said i didnt have a clutch anymore it was burnt to a crisp. So now i gotta fork over another $800-$1000 for a new clutch. I strongly advise you not to buy Spec clutchs from American Muscle. Im in no way saying American Muscle is a bad company because ive probably spent well over $2000 there and have been satisfied with every product except this clutch. The shop who installed the clutch said they dont warrenty the work because i bought the clutch so heres my other advise. If you gonna have something vital done to your car such as a clutch, new motor, tranny, or something like that take it to a shop have them order everything and do the work therefore they cant not warrenty it. This has been one hell of a disaster and im strongly upset at Spec and will never use a Spec clutch in any more of my cars. I used to have one in my 93 GT worked flawlessly absolutely loved it but it seems like there having problems now as ive seen many posts about spec clutchs messing up.

/End Rant.

I have not been on here very often due to the fact that im moving to Wilmington NC. Once i finish with the whole moving ill be back on here as a regular
