foglight keeps going out
my passenger side foglight keeps going out after like 3 weeks of use. its happened twice and i replaced both yesterday and that one doesn't seem nearly as bright as the other one and they are both brand new. any idea as to whats making it dimmer than the other?

I had problem with mine too.. I kept buying silverstars for the fogs and they kept blowing.. Now that I've got the cheapies in there, I've got no problems... I donno?? Make sure no water is getting in there and coming in contact with the bulb..

nah i think i might have a shortage or something from that side because after 2 minutes after installing them one was alot brighter than the other.

maybe i have to wait til i get the car back to check it out. its just a pain in the *** because i had someone drive my car to the shop and they followed me there and i kept looking back at it and it sticks out and irritates the hell outta me. but yeah like you said ones alot brighter than the other. what did you do just put tint on then or how did you tint them?

could be a short, could also be you're touching the bulb or there is a film on the bulb that's causing it to overheat. After putting in the bulb, use alcohol on a tissue paper to wipe the bulb down and get rid of film/finger oil.

RE: foglight keeps going out
Kinda on topic I thought some people mayalso be experiencing. I keep having to crawl underneath my car and putting the bulb back in the housing. Any ideas on how I can rig it in so it doesn't keep untwisting itself. I'm getting ready to drop my car 1.5" so it would be even more of a pain if it kept happening after lowering.
