im thinking about cutting my springs. i know everyone is gonna say dont do it, it will ride like crap, etc. But im wondering if i do, how much should i cut to get it down like 1.5inches? i dont want to have to buy c/c plates either. is it like 1 coil is 1 inch?

Just get an eibach pro kit. You won`t need cc plates.

i cut my stock springs once upon a time. took about an inch off the actual spring height. I'll never do it agian. It rode extremely rough, and started to sag more the longer they were in. Kept it that way for a month until I got real lowering springs. They were **** though, and the back started to sag real bad 6 months later. Had to replace those, went with Eibach. love it so far.

I have the Prokit and they don;t look like I have a drop at all. Now I'm thinking about cutting on the Eibachs....

160??? Be ready to pay over 200 for eibach... They all ride like **** in my opinion.... My buddy had a car that he had the springs heated, and it rides much better than my car with the eibach's... And my car rode better to start with than his did... So cutting or heating the springs is the way to go in my opinion... And they say that heating them makes them weak, but these things aren't dump trucks, car isn't heavy enough to really worry about spring strength....
