Default Reliability?

So im looking to get either a foxbody 5.0 mustang, ora 2000 or newer 4.6 mustang. How reliable are the 4.6 mustangGT's? What kind of mileage should i expectouta the tranny and engine?

Default RE: Reliability?

They are very reliable motors except for the intake manifold. I don't know if the 99+ has the aluminum crossover, but really, that is one of the few problems. I have a 98 with 104,000 and it still runs great. No complaints here.

there's people on here that have blown or juiced their 4.6s and 5.0s with well over 100k miles on them with no problems.
