Ok so since yesterday my car is acting up. When i locked my doors yesterday, i went to unlock my door and when i put my key to unl;ock it and open the door, my alarm went off and the only way to turn it off was to put the key in the other door lock and turn it to get it to shut up. Its been doing this till now. Now when i unlock it, my car door starts making that ding noise but it pauses for like three seconds and then dings again and pauses then waits. Also my hazrd lights also decided to just goo off even though i didnt have them on. Then when i closed the door i turned the keys and i looked down at my radio. It starts flashing like its losing powerthen goes back to normal and back and forth and back and forth and my car wont turn on either. Sp i decided that i would put my key on the pasenger side door and c wat happened and long and behold, the flashing and hazard lights went away. what is going on here. Ive never seen a car do this till mine. Would everything just go away if i just unplug the battery or is there something else wrong?

 

is this an aftermarket alarm? What year car... I don't even have a key hole for the passenger side.

now that I think about it I DO have a doorlock on the passenger side, just no keyhole

 

its a stock alarm system. 98 GT. Sorry, i meant doorlock

 

I dunno, to tell you the truth I didn't REALLY think it was an actual alarm from the factory, I thought of it as more of a keyless entry
