just changed plugs, did IAC restrictor
ehh.. what a job. 2002 gt, but anyways my car always had a starting issue since i bought it, Sometimes it would do a small back fire after turning over but not start. I took all the plugs out they were so ugly, and they were autolite platinums... not double platinums like I replaced them with.. I started the car and it has cranked perfect ever since, think this could have been the problem? Also whoever put the plugs in last (previous owner) over tightened them wayyyy to much, so much that one of the plugs threw me into the hood after pulling it loose. what you guys think? Also I did that IAC restrictor mod, worked fine until this morning, "cold start" so i had to make the hole biger, but overall the car sounds like it has more ***** during the revs now.

plugs I prefer copper plugs for performance. As for them being too tight, you don't want to over tighten then but you don't want them loose. Also put some anti sieze on the threads. Make sure you tighten them properly (the spark blug box will say how much for aluminum heads) because our cars are know for blowing spark plugs out and that repair can be a PITA.
