Thank's for all the info.I think ill go with the 4:10s and good tires. I would hate to get 3:73 and wish i got the 4:10s. Isee more people like 4:10s.

I have 4.10's and im looking at either procarger or kb but ive heard that with 4.10 gears and street tires with a supercharger you wouldnt hook up that well. anybody having these problems? i also have a 5 speed.

i absolutely love my 4.10's... i got an eaton locker also... first gear is the only prob with traction... second spins a little but not that bad.

What axle ratio is denoted by ME on a 98GT? I believe it is 3.08, but no one can give me a definite answer.

my F/I and 4.10s match good, but it could be better. i think 3.73 or 3.90 would compliment me better. but youre N/A the difference between 4.10 and 4.30 is negligiblebut if i were to do it over again, i would get 4.30's

only way I'd change to a numerically lower number gear 3.73 or so.is if I'd boost the H.P and run out of rpm in fourth in the 1/4.....right now I can trap 110 to 112 and not hit the limiter in fourth....If I do....I might even go up in tire size to compensate instead of dropping the gear....theDR's I'm runningare 26. inches tall...and may at some point go to a 28 tall slick....
