RE: 4:10s????
gears would make a huge difference, if you want 13s, try a good set of DRs, maybe ET streets, or BFGs. i would also try subframe connectors, upper and lower control arms, with some adj. shocks/struts.

RE: 4:10s????
i made the mistake of getting 4.10's. i never thought id go F/I but when i did i realized i need 3.55 or 3.73's to get the speed. 4.10s work good with my kb, but if im running high boost i dont want to get to redline that quickly. 4.10 or 4.30 are good. 3.90 is also a good compromise between 3.73 and 4.10

RE: 4:10s????
Plus with a lower gear you will get on the gas more, at least I did! I switched the gears on my old Dodge Ram from 3.55s to 4.10s and my mileage went way down, mainly because it made the truck so much more fun to romp at stoplights.
I will probably keep my Mustang with the stock 3.27s, does the job fine really, and off the line my Stang already hauls pretty well. 4.10s would just cause more traction problems.

RE: 4:10s????
Drove a nearly stock GT with 4.10's and just street tires had no traction problems wahtsoever, also drove the same GT with 4.30's installed traction is not good in first gear but was fine in second. The rpm difference beteween the two gears is around 200rpms at any speed. IMO N/A=4.30
