I'd take a 96-98 Cobra over my GT any day. Then again my GT needs a paintjob

The sn95 GTs are EXTREMELY slow... I consider a 15 second car pretty damn slow.
so you consider a 15 second car EXTREMELY slow. so then i take it you're pretty much saying a stock 99+ SN95 is just slow since it's only a .7-1 second faster in most cases? nice to know your place about mustangs.

I met a guy with a 97 GT and he had full exhuast and some other minor mods, no gears and he was running 14.5. i felt bad for him.
14 sec wasn't a bad time at the time, after 2000,technlogy boomed and became alot quicker, who would think all these 4are doing what they are doing today, you dont know who has a turbo or what.

they arent that fast but they are terribly slow either my friend had a 98gt 5spd with xpipe, flows, cia, u/d pullies, and 3.55's and ran a 9.3 1/8th mile which is about a 14.3 or so (correct me if im wrong). That is about as fast a stock 99-04. Another friend of mine has an auto 94 gt w/the 5.0 its stock minus h-pipe and ive drove it alot it feels pretty strong id say high 14's. so no they arent that too terribly slow.

And yes 1 second is a HUGE difference..... So your not making a very good point.

Mustangs are slow, in my opinion. I don't even think a car is worth talking about unless it's in the 13's, maybe the 12's. It's just my opinion. I enjoy mustangs, very fun cars, but just not fast enough. I drive an sn-95 and I know how it is to loose day in and day out to a lot faster cars. O well. Haha.
