Default new track times

I ran 2.08 60 ft times and 9.32 in the1/8mile with street tires. I was beating pi mustangs with mods. What would I do with a 100 wetshot in the 1/8 mile. Because with retarding the timing and colder plugs this slows down my car. So im wonder could I do 8.40 with nitrous, nitto 555r, and a tune.

Why not do a PI swap first? If you are contemplating nitrous, nittos and a new tune, you could get a swap with that $$ and add the other stuff later.

With all your other bolt ons you already have a good platform ready for those PI heads

why would you add nitrous for the 1/8 mile if youre tires are already not hooking (2.0+ 60ft) try working on the suspension to get that number down

Well, I run 8.20's on motor, and 7.60's on the 150 shot on 1.7 60fts, but my clutch slips bad on the 150. I hopingto run 7.60's or 7.70's on the 100 shot, and 7.30's or better on the 150 with the new clutch.

Get something stickier than the Nitto.

everyone was telling me that nitrous would be a better more powerful mod. I dont want to pay $2500 for 40hp. I would want new heads, intake, etc. Or am I wrong.

Yes, Nitrous is the way to go. What he was saying is that its pointless at the track if you cant hook it up.

I was running consistant 8.50's on motor, and only 8.10's on a 100 shot, when on street tires.

NITROUS = best bang for your buck BUT if u wanna take full advantage of this, you need those tires to hook

nitrous wont affect his 60 fts as im sure he will only spray in 3rd.

If I hook what times would I be at. Would the nitto 555r be good. Is the stock fuel pump with 87k good with a 100 shot

2.0 60's arent horrible....

They arent GOOD, but they certainly arent as bad as some ofyou are making them out to be.
