Default Cam, Headers, Midpipe? Or what else for power?

I'm looking to make a some power and want to know the best ideas to go about that. I'm going to be putting a PI Manifold on soon (stocker just cracked) so that has to be done. Some of my options are to go with a new Cam, Headers, Midpipe, Intake plenum and take care of all that. I don't know if I can come up with the cash for a blower or not but that's a possibility too. So what I wondering is which way would you guys go and if I do a new cam, how hard an install is it and what all would I need to upgrade with it (i.e. Ignition I would imagine)? Thanks for your input I really appreciate it

Well obviously the best option would be a blower by far because our cars don't respond well to mods. If you are talking HP, the best two mods are long tube headers and a cam. Other than that, the 2V's don't see much power[:@]

With a cam I think the springs have to be upgraded too.

If you want some "go" gears would be a good idea too.

I would go ahead and do the heads with that cam.

Yup. Heads/Cam/Intake, Gear, full exhaust, would pick that car up nicely.

Thing about the heads is that I don't want to raise compression too much because I want to be able to add a supercharger later on down the road if I can't do it now....would I be ok for it if I did the heads?

If I still had my new edge, all I'd do is slap a kenne belle on it with exhaust and call it a day. Cams, cai, LT's, etc.. just don't do enough to justify the cost...
