I have 4.30s and love them. Installed them a week ago and have a little over 320 miles on them now. So far I've gotten 18.7 mpg, mostly highway driving (to and from school) and some city mixed in. I haven't really gotten on it yet, since I'm still breaking them in, but it feels amazing.

Yikes! On the highway???

I still get 21.50 on the highway with 420 WHP... apparently 3.73s FTW!

I'd go 3.73s or 3.92s. If you have deep pockets to pay for gas go 4.10s or 4.30s! Hell why not just go 5.13s?

Exactly!
I do not know why for the life of me the topic of fuel mileage keeps coming up on this forum.
We are driving V-8 sports cars not economy cars.

You have to pay to play!
If you have to complain about car insurance or gas then you cannot afford to own and drive a mustang.
Everything you do to mod the car will most likely decrease mpg while the hp increases.
Gas mileage or gas prices are the last thing on my mind when I am driving or waxing my car.

Haha, yeah. But with the way I drive, it is no different from what I had been getting with the stock gears. I think it can be attributed to the fact that I no longer cruise on the highway at 80mph, now I cruise right around 60 to keep the RPM's down.

in defense of some people, gas mileage is an issue when it starts to GO DOWN dont tell them to mod their car with your mindset, if they dont want higher rpms, they can go with 3.73's its their car and ultimately their decision.
