Grille Delete Install Help!
so i tried to install my grille delete (3 piece) today...and failed horribly the first time around. the inner 2 screws on top of the stock grille are stripped and ive tried and failed to get em out. any ideas on how to get these freaking things out? i had to walk away from it cuz i was getting to the point where i wanted to throw the screwdriver lol. id like to get it done today, so any help would be appreciated.

I'm gonna go look on the car in a min (have to go put the mufflers back on lol) but are you talking about the pop rivit/screw things?
The entire thing will come out, but you need to get the center up and then it will come out with light force.

Are you talking about those lame *** plastic screws? If so, just pry them buggers out with a pocket knife.

try pliars... they give you new ones... wait til you get to the bottom of the grille... you have to peel it back to get to 4 bolts underneath... get neosporin for your busted knuckles.

id rather not break the screws...i bought the kit used and i dont believe i got the new screws with it.
...maybe the used kit wasnt worth the savings of like $40...
Edit: and yea...i was talking about the pop plastic screws. the two innermost ones that are held in by plastic mollys or whatever.

Take a pic, but they should come out and be able to be put back in. Hell, put a pliars on it if you have to, or heat up a screwdriver with a MAP gas torch and melt yourself a new slot if you stripped it so bad. Just be careful not to touch the paint

RE: Grille Delete Install Help!
i was using such a small screwdriver i seriously could not use a smaller one.
and i dont have a gas torch...my tool selection is minimal. im in an apartment complex and dont have much room/time/tools to work on my car. im just trying to make do the best i can.
i think its about time to go try and screw with it again, no pun intended.
