Default SCT XCAL2 Question!!

I'm most likely going to buy the SCT XCAL 2 in a few minutes but I don't see any details on if this tuner can remove the top speed limiter??? I know alot of people on here have the SCT XCAL so hopefully someone can answer the question....does this tuner have the ability to remove the top speed limiter???

Also...is this tuner something i can use to adjust things with myself or must i have the use of a shop///dyno to make adjustments?

the tune you need the shop you bought it to do,

it can do basic things like set rev limiter, advance or retart spark change fuel map @ wot ect basic stuff, all the technical stuff you have to tell the tuner to do it for you and its part of the tune,

i used jms chips and they rocked http://www.jmschip.com/

tuened off rear o2s removed pats system, 3 performance tunes

and good customer service

I'm am not sure what exactly you can and cannot do with it. I don't use it for all of that. But I was going to suggest that instead of Jegs you buy it from a place who customized tunes. You'll get a custom tune designed for your mods, and the tuner. Jegs only offers the Tuner.

And with the custom tune, whatever A/F ratio or EGR problems you are having could be solved If you let the tuner know you are having those problems.

That JMS website that OneGreedy suggested should be able to help you. You should give them a call before you order your tuner.

hmm...im still not sure....its showing the adjustments for air/fuel ratio are only for wide open throttle....and my problem occurs at a cruising speed .....i dont really know if getting a tuner would fix the problem...
