This is reallllly cheap. Man! Wow. The internal stuff is pretty easy actually. Everything pretty much only goes in one way. You should be fine. What you should invest in, is a Ford Service Manual. Those things get detailed. Make sure you replace all the TTY bolts....Crank cap bolts, connecting rod bolts, etc..

a local shop around here charges 85 for boring. from what i hear, theyre a pretty reputable shop.
