Default Serious wheel/tire/suspension issue...please read.

Okay, well here's the story.

My Mustang is a daily driver with 80,000 miles on the clock. I bought it back in June with 68,000 miles. And of course, like allMustang drivers, I've done my fair share of tearing up the roads. But the past few months, I have noticed some very strange tire wear which concerns me.

Several months ago, I accidentally drove a mile or so on a flat tire (Yokohama A-550V, 245 in size). Instead of paying 145 bucks out my *** for a cheap Firestone, I broke down and bought a 60% tread, refurbished tire off eBay which was mounted for 11 dollars by the same place that quoted me for the Firestone.

I have filled up the tires whenever they looked low, but not religiously, as I plan on getting new wheels and tires soon.

However, I rode up onto a curb a bit not too long ago and put a slight dent on the inside of the front left wheel. The shop noticed this and resealed the bead, allowing me to drive on it safely, however it continues to wear extremely bald on the outter lip; the wear bars are almost gone.

And the rear left tire has almost NO tread left. I'm talking near 10%, maybe less. Check out the pictures...

What kind of problems could have resulted from the little curb ride? I'm starting to think that aside from tire work, this shop doesn't know crap about the cause of wear. I don't think it's normal for the rear left tire to be COMPLETELY bald, the front right to have outer wear, the the left two to be perfectly fine.

Sounds like you need caster and camber plates to adjust your alignment.

looks to me like the rear left is wearing even and the rear right was over inflated. As for the front.... nothing a front end alignment wont fix. Just take it by your local shop for an alignment and if there are any parts in the front end that are causeing it to wear they are gonna make you replace those before they will do the alignment... atleast a good shop will.

I thought about possible overinflation, but my tires were more often underinflated than overinflated, heh....

I think I'm going to rotate front-to-back and hope for the best...until she gets new shoes, that is....
