well it hardly rains in vegas so it can't b that. i did however clean the k@n filter with that oil thing. maybe i put to much and it clogged something up. im going to buy injector cleaner in the morning and try it. c what happens.
if i reset the computer wont i disturb the balance (if i put the factory tune) i mean it's got modified paremeters to my apps. i already put the modded tune in to c if it got erased. i did disconnect the neg cable the other day but it wasn't for 30 min.

You may have to stop revving your engine, revving it w/o being under load is REALLY bad...keep on doing it and you will spin a rod bearing or **** up a piston ring or snap a rod. With that said replace your IAC.. that is the most common problem.

The guy that said "don't use the in tank crap", is right.
Find someone that can pressure clean the injectors by removing the return line, opening the(on a return system) opening the inertia switch and getting the fuel clean pressure up at 60-75 psi,1500-2000 rpmuntil the bottle is empty. That is the best way to clean these injectors.
When the PCM says that it is in open loop it means the pcm is not taking all of the sensors into account cause the car is not warm enough. You may want to look at the engine temp on the scanner v's real temp at the radiator. If the pcm see's that the car is cold but it is actually hot, the the pcm is going to give the engine more fuel to make it warm up faster. Hence a possible idle problem, check the engine temp also

i had a similar problem after i did my heads and cams and it was a vacuum leak, in my case it was just two hoses that were mixed up, make sure the drivers side hose on the valve cover is connected to the airfilter and not the other valve cover, trying to help hopefully u find its nothing big.
well thanks all. lol somone told me to buy that injector add on bottle and did before reading this forum. o well. i ended up taking it to team ford. they called and said i need a new i.a.c. unit i hopw thats the case. u know how mecanics say it's fixed, give it back and u end up returning it. then they fix it and u end up paying for to things. one of witch u didn't ask to fix. as its stands it's only 330 lol thats alot. i could have done that for half the price.
