Default Header question? (confused)

I have a 04 Mustang GT 5-speed and was lookin at getting a set of long tube headers. My budget only allows me two choices either flowtech or heddman hedders but my question is how come for the application models they show for are for 96-03 and not 04 when the 99-04 are the same body style? would it work just to order the headers for an 03 or is there something different that will make it not work? any advice would be appreciated thanks

Save a little bit more money and buy a more reputable brand. IMHO, I would run away from flowtech...

You have plenty of very good options, I wouldn't cheap out here. Don't rush into things.

Have you ever used flowtech headers?

Have you heard the stories? I mean no I haven't and I could keep my mouth shut, but I am trying to look out for a fellow member. You get what you pay for and personally for something like headers, which is considered a "higher" performance part for a car... I wouldn't spend $200 on them. Plus compared to other brands, there results are far from proven.

If I was you, I would save up and go mac. Good company with good reviews, and not a budget breaker. Wait two months and go with a better brand.

Flowtech is the lower end of the Holley performance line. I would save and buy something better. Save for a few more months and get Hooker headers; which are the upper end of Holley's line.
