damn... how much does an engine rebuild typically go for? the odometer says 151k miles so it may not be a hoax.

If you can do it yourself.. All you would need are the new parts, which won't be that much... probably a couple of grand, but then you get away with a 18k terminator, lol with new internals...

maybe its had really steep gears in it since like 400 miles and its spend a lot of time at 90mph....possibility

The original owner of that car should be shot. I can't beleive he put 151,000 miles on a four year old car thats ****ing insane

for the new internals your looking at 550 for brand new mahle pistons and rings
450 for new manley replacement h-beam rods
100 for new crank and rod bearings
150 for a line hone to clean the cylinder walls
300 for every single gasket on the car including new valve seals
15 a piece on the manely valves or you can buy stockers for like 8-10 a piece so say 320-450
150 to resruface the heads and for a valve job
new timing equipment will be like 400
so basically 3 grand to rebuild this sucker back better than stock
still your only at 15k and you can now buy a kb blower
