My predator will be here today. It has 2 or 3 tunes pre programed. Was told to get the best out of it you need to take it to dyno shop and have them do it. Well in Oklahoma we really dont have those. I think there is one or two in Oklahoma City. Another guy told me to not worry about getting that dyno tune unless i do some major work to the engine s/c, cams, etc. Told me to get ahold of this guy bamachips.com and he does great mail order tunes. Got ahold of one of the guys in the city that does the tunes and he was tweaking so hard talked 30 minutes straight without taking a breath. He said he would change around 8 to 9000 things on my car with his tune, but my luck he doesnt do diablo, lol

Anyways how much horse do you get out of the preadator without going to the dyno? And when you do get the dyno tune how much of an increase is it?

thats hard to say since we don't know what u got in her. i put a slp 330hp package and 4.10s,lower control arms i gained i think closeto6 rwhp with the unit. subtract 6 without it. it's really so your engine runs smoother and the computer knows what u got and aint got.so that u wont get detonation, pinging and all thos bad things.

 

i have 373's just installed. x pipe flows k & n with the inlet tube. Underdrive pulleys came in yesterday and my throttle body and plenum came in today. I am waiting on putting them on. Been calling around to see if i can get this plenum ported out a little. But the gears really helped obviously and when i put the diablo tune in it felt great. Felt like more than six hp but not a lot. Mines a auto and it would just chirp when it hit second before now it really shreads the rubber. Its starting to remind me of my 92 5.0 5 speed on how fast i am going through first now. I havent even had it a month and its a COMPLETLY different car. I LOVE IT! The problem is its an addiction, you just want more and more and more and more. Its a hell of addiction imo!
