He`s full of ****.
He`s full of ****.
smaller sidewall = rougher ride
bigger wheel = rougher ride
bigger sidewall + smaller wheel = really rough ride
throw lowering springs in there and you're really f|_|cked
it will ride like sh|t and you will get worse mpg, and tires will cost a crap load
17s ftw

i got 255 40 18 up front, 295 35 18 out back.... was rough before the wheel alignment, all better now. i had 245 40's before these and they were just as good as stock. get yourself a good wheel alignment and you won't notice the difference..... all in all, the guy is definitely full of ****. About the only way this would apply would be on like an SUV/truck who switches from like a 70 mm sidewall to a 35 mm. The difference wont be much on your stang.

RE: low profile=bad ride???
My cars ride was pretty nice evn when I had it lowered 1.5" with stock 245/45/17's on there. I put 275/30/18 which is the same size in height and the car drives like CRAP! I love the look but if it was my everyday car I would much rather have 17's
