Default MEASURING AMP DRAW????

ive been having a problem with my battery goin dead today and i think i found out that it was my cd player staying on. with the key out of the ignition i could change and unload the disc slots on cd player. its the stock deck and everything. My question is, i have a multimeter but im unsure of how to use it. Could someone explain to me how to check the amp draw to see if something is still draining the battery when the car is off??? pleaase help

The easiest way is to get a clamp on ampmeter or a clamp on probe if you have a descent meter already. I am sure most of your parts stores and harbor freight sells these. That way you can measure the drain on your battery with everything off disconnect the suspect systems to find your problem.
