Default Cam Install

What would be considered an average price on having cams installed. A friend of mine was quoted around $600 and I almost lost it when he told me that.

I wouldn't do it for much less than that--it's a good solid days work, think of it as$300 for doing it and $300 for knowing how...[/align]

By the time I paid for the cams, valvesprings, install, tune, and the chip for the tune I was into it for almost 1700 bucks.

500-600 is about right.
