Compression?

Ok my car has 127,000 miles and i want to do a compression test to make sure everythings good. My buddys got a tester. What should the compression be at, around 100psi, or more?

yes it should be around 110 or higher but what you want is every cyclinder to be within 5 psi of each other

DStang is wrong! You want the pressure to be within 4.2351901 Psi of eachother. =X

Just checked it, 7 out of 8 cylinders were at 160 psi, one was at 150. So am I good or should i be worried bout something.

Those are very good #'s for the mileage thats on it. Seems like someone has been taking very good care of it, good luck.
