zw, american muscle has the alternator cover. For those who want a chrome alternator, Tuff Stuff looks like a good company, Someday I'll get one.

I have no idea where to get a polished EGR, and as for the fill tank, im not sure which one you're talking about. Canton has both a power steering and coolant expansion.

i honestly think the altenator covers look like crap...i think if your going to dress up the altenator you might as well get the whole thing polished/chromed/colored whatever tickles your fancy. 50resto has the polished egr valve and fuse box cover for cheaper than ive seen anywhere else. Here is the link to the coolant tank, its a Canton:
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/newv8steel2.htm

So as of right now i think this is the route im going to go:
1) polished fuse box cover
2) polished egr valve cover
3) Canton polished coolant tank
4) polished altenator
5) polished shock caps

hows it sound?

I think I am going to paint my iac valve and water neck black...those are the two dull pieces that stand out other than the altenator

I got a little inspired by this thread and seeing my ugly alternator yesterday when cleaning my engine. You should just take yours off and paint it. That's what I'm going to do tomorrow.

Not sure what the differences are between your car and mine but it doesn't seem bad at all to take it off, give it a scrub with a wire brush and paint it.

That would definitely look kick ***, those red underdrive pulleys would look good, and if you could find red radiator hoses. Any way looks great cant wait to see what it looks like when your done (if you post pics)
