Default Friend is looking for a Roush

A friend of mine is looking to go from his Civic to a Mustang. He loves the 01-04 Roush. He wants to buy a GT and build it up to Roush spec himself. In the end, he basically wants to build himself his own stage 3 with 400+rwhp with a supercharger( which one did Roush put on their new edge cars?). Everything is going to be Roush parts, and he wants to get an idea of a game plan he should go with, from suspension to the engine. He will not go all out and get everything at once, this is going to be a project over time. How easily is this power level feasible and keeping it a DD with the 2v 4.6? Would it be better to buy a stage 3 right off the bat?

Well, the thing with a stage 3 is that they seem pretty rare as opposed to a stage 2. Would that be the best starting point?

Both him and I are talking about all such possibilities. The only thing we are really concerned about is getting the power he wants (400+rwhp) using all Roush parts including the Roush SC. But to me, yea getting a stage 2 and adding the SC seems to be the best imo. I just want more new edge savy people to back me up and/or correct me.

stage 1 is cosmetics
stage 2 is suspension + stage 1
stage 3 is power + stage 2 + stage 3

Tell your friend to save some money, buy a stage 2 and slap a roush charger on it

Here is what your friend is looking at
Roush body kit ~ 600 -700 painted another 300-400
Side exit exhaust 1000
Suspension package 2000
Brakes 1500
roush charger 3500
Interior 2000+
GT 7500-10000

these are all just ballpark figures
