I can't see drag radials getting that much spin on just a bolt on gt WITH suspension...shouldnt really be necessary, now if you have a power adder/nitrous/na monster than i can see but not with a bolt on gt

i just think its a waste to do slicks/rear end if your hooking the way it is...

15x3.5 front with 165R/15 front tires and 15x8 with 5.5" backspacing or 15x10 with 6.5" backspacing and 26x10x15 slicks. Or if ya are spraying 28" rear slicks.

The THR white GT ran slicks and held up fine in the 12's, for a couple runs.

I launch at 5k rpm on MT d/r's and have yet to spin them. Slicks aren't going to do anything more for you that a good set of d/r's will. You're not making enough power to justify slicks in my opinion. Hell I have a blower and don't think I have enough power for strait up slicks. The Welds are a good idea (seeing as tho I have them) with some skinnies. The skinnies alone have the potential to shave up to 4 tenths off your ET. 15x3.5's for the front and 15x8 or 15x10 in the back. I use a 255/50-15 Mickey Thompson d/r right now and will be putting 295/50-15's on soon. Alot of people that I race with with equate a 5k launch on MT d/r's to launching on slicks. Start saving for a rearend because the rear can take a dump with 5k launches and d/r's too.
