Need help Check engine light
well i finished up my kenne bell install and started it up, it started a little rough and threw the check engine light, it is code p0113 - air intake iac high, so i thought i might have damaged the iac, i bought a new one installed it and i get the same code after i cleared it with my xcal, once the car is started it runs and drives and idles just as it should...any suggestions on my cel?

RE: Need help Check engine light
Intake Air temp high is IAT but you are saying IAC. Which is it? I have replaced my IAT twice in a year-and-a-half with my procharger setup but have never had to dick around with my IAC. The IAT is only $12 at AutoZone so I never worried about why it goes out.
IAC (Idle Air Controller)= Idling issues when bad.
IAT (Intake Air Temperature) Sensor = p0113 code when bad (high intake temp code).
Your code is for an IAT sensor and is ver easy to replace on early new edge's but I don't know where it's at on a 2004, especially with a KB install. Mine was under the intake tube after the MAF prior to the blower installand post blower install it's even easier to get at on the new procharger intake tube.

RE: Need help Check engine light
i realized my problem DUR!
01 + mustangs DO NOT HAVE A IAT they are intagrated into the maf....
by me repaceing my MAF with a 90MM lightening i took away the intagrated IAT sensor in the maf...
so now i realize all i have to do is splice the grey and grey / red wire (outermost) on the MAF and hook it to the IAT sensor and tap a hole into my Intake...does this sound right?
i ment IAT not IAC sorry about that...anyways my iac was starting to get sticky..
