race gas?
so i know its bad to run a lower octane gas in a car than what is supposed to be used in it. like running 87 in my cobra is bad. but is running something of a higher octane than what is supposed to be used bad for the car. like running 93 in my mom's expedition. the reason i ask is because when i am at the track i sometimes have to limit the number of runs i make because i get low on gas. there is no gas station near there so i have to fill up before i make the hour drive over there. but they only have race gas, i think it is 110 octane. maybe they said 100 octane. it would be expensive but it would be worth it to have a way to fill up there. would it be bad for the car and would it run right?

RE: race gas?
race gas is leaded so after you leave the entire inside of your engine will be coated in led
which means more restriction and worse daily MPG
(the race gas around here is anyhow)
can it be seafoamed out?

Why would you want to run race gas, if the car isnt set up to run the higher octane i thought it wouldnt make an difference. Just cost you 5$ a gallon as opposed to 3.50.
