Ok just got back from my local track went to test out my new Tuner and 3.73 gears well my first run i ran a 9.18 and all my shifts were great then on my second run i wanted to test the tuner and go higher RPMS well i set it to 6800 when i got to 6200 it bogged on me again GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so i ran a 9.8 what to dooo

 

What year car? 99-04?

 

mod list?? why are you taking the car that high into the rpm's??

 

You must not want your car anymore. A mostly stock 4.6 only makes power up to 5750 rpms, anything after that the car will fall flat. Your shortblock and valve springs are not made to rev over 6000 rpms and will break it it is taken up there repeadedly.

 

actualy peak shift is around 6150 03 gt. The reason that I set it to 6800 is so that when I do make a shift its at around 6000 flat well im not fast enough to make that quick of shift no one is really. So i set it to higher RPM's that way if i miss by a little it wont bog on me

 

..... do you mean 5800?? and 99-04 gt's make their power before the Redline..... which is like 5800... Most people will tell you shift at like 5500... ur goanna SCREW ur motor...
