uh, well whenever i bought my mustang it appears as if someone removed the factory keyless entry module that sits along the drivers side of the inside trunk... anyways i looked where it is suposto go and you can see where it sits and everything, but the box is just gone. i'm guessing the previous owner just took it out to have an aftermarket alarm installed on it or something. i'm not sure.... anyways i just want to get a new box in there.... i bought one off of ebay that said 94-98 mustangs equipped with keyless. but for some reason the harnesses didn't match up. the prongs on the plugs were just a tad more different...

this is on my 1998 gt. i really need to know which box to get. because i'm guessing that they changed them throughout that bodystyle years..

please help!

if you pull the fake walls back in the trunk on the left side, its bolted to the inside of the fender. i guess i just need a control module off of a 98...

i see a box in there but it also looks like there may be a slot for another box...?

just get an aftermarket keyless entry, very east to set up, come with good instructions. I'm an installer at Best Buy, I can help and give advice and opinions

well, i just pulled mine apart. whenever you look at the spot wherever you think its suposto sit. pull that back, and its there..... i purchased a new box off of ebay thinking it wasn't there. so now i just have 2 boxes. i purchased a remote off of ebay also. does anyone think theirs a fuse for the keyless entry? if so can anyone hoook me up with a diagram, since i don't have my owners manual...


i went to the dealership and they told me my car wasn't equipped with keyless entry.... (kinda funny since i found the control box) but anyways they told me to turn the key off and on 8 times and then the locks will jump. whenever my locks jump your suposto hit the lock button on your transmitter, thats how you program the remotes. god damn i'm so confused.... i really want keyless..

or. if anyone has a 94-98 mustang gt go outside and turn your ignition on and off 8 times.. and let me know if the locks jump
