Default breaking issue

I have been having a lack of breaking power for about a year now and I have ran out of ideas on how to fix this...

Things I tried:
-New discs
-New pads
-Bleed the breaks some

Now from my experience, if I do a pulse break (on break, off break, on break again) I can stop. But when I short stop, or even hold my foot on the break - I seem to "slide".

Any ideas?

Could be your power brake booster.

+1 id check your brake lines to make sure they arent damaged. did u support the calibers when you did your pads? or did u let them hang

Well, to be honest - the last jobs that were done I had someone else do them. One had them hanging, and the other one supported the calibers.

One thing to add as well, I recently had 2 washers (one on each pad) replaced cause they were leaking some, but not a lot of fluid. Not sure what its called, but the washers were replaced behind a big bolt (sorry to sound so childish, but thats all I know)

What does everyone think? Does it appear to be a simple fix, or will it cost quite a bit of money to fix?
