Default Intercooler for Vortec V-2 Strim

Is there a Special Intercooler I have to buy for the Vortec V-2 Strim S/c? or will just about any FMIC work? if any one has links that would be great, Im not looking to spend 1k for it but if i must..... O wellz

Good, thats what i was going to do, Buy an Ebay Intercooler, but i wasnt sure if they were all the same. I gotta place that will Bend the Pipes and Stuff and install it Cheap but i just wasnt sure which intercooler to buy..

Honestly .. buy the ebay pipe kit .. has all the pipes you need and if you get the upgraded couplers there is no need to weld the pipe unless you are gonna run really really high boost ...

i just posted on this last nite. basicaly i did some searching and came up with this. you can do a treadstone intercooler for 350 i belive, piping and vortech mini race bypass valve, all for about 700-900 even. its suppose to handle like 700rwhp. or you can just fork up the money for the Paxton a/a intercooler. one other alternative is the meth injection. either way you go its gonna help. it kinda depends on how much you wanna spend

yeah do you know where i can get a Treadstone intercooler? Im getting the Vortec Race Blow off with the S/c. so all i need is the
INtercooler???
intercooler Piping-Ebay ??
Injectors-$350 Ford Racing

do you have spark plugs? and you can get the intercooler from treadstoneperformance.com....get one that has offset sides on the heat exchanger

Honestly you can use any Intercooler you want, as mentioned above. Meth Injection, an air to water intercooler, any FMIC you fab up etc. I personally went with the paxton because it fit very easily, made fabbing the piping easy and so far its worked like a charm. My only complaint is that since the inlet/outlet go below the radiator, it scrapes occasionally since my car is lowered.
