Default AT question

I went to check all the fluids the other day and notice the trans fluid was a bit low. Now here the dumb question... Where on the stick is it supposed to be when its full? I tried it without it running and it seems to cover the whole end of the stick, but when its running (and been running for around an hour), only between C and H.

Thank you in advance.

You always check the trans fluid when the car is running. You want to chaeck it when its hot. Drive the car a few miles to make sure its up to full operating temp, then give it a check. You want to check the fluid when its hot because trans fluid will expand.

The marks on the dipstick are H for hot, C when cold. If you're between the hot and cold fill lines you should be ok, but you might want to add a little to get it up to the line when hot.
