what is dual-stage rev limitier?

what is dual-stage rev limitier?

I purcharse a Xcal2 from americanmuscle and it told me if i want dual-stage rev limiter. What is that?

A two step basically "steps" your rev limiter. Its used for launching the car. First step will limit at say 4k rpms then the second will limit to your redline or so. The limits are programmable I just used those numbers for an example. Typically only used on turbo cars for the most part.

or if you want to concentrate on the tree and not your rpm's
