Default TKO!!!!!

A few of you guys know that I'm dropping in a MMR shortblock around the first of June. Well, everyone knows how sh*tty the T-45 is, so I called my tuner/tech about possibly beefing up the T-45 and he told me he had a brand new TKO/500 with a bell housing for 1700.00! SOLD!!! All I need is the slip yoke and clutch fork plus a new clutch/pressure plate. I already have an 11" 8 bolt flywheel on hand so I'm set!!

ConGrats!!!!Damn lucky dog....LOL.....I'm debating on what route to go on trans selection...I have found a few t56's ,,,,,,fairly cheap,,,and maybe a few upgrades to make them stronger....but a friend has a tko600 in he's 95 and likes it as well....Gonna need a shorter drive shaft on the 500?or with the shaft you have work,,except for the slip yoke?....Wish there was a way to just upgrade the t-45..asI can install whatevers needed to make them stronger....are their parts available to upgrade the T-45?Anyone?Anyways ....great find.....[sm=smiley20.gif]
