ok well i bought a 2000 mustang gt but theres no hood scoop i went on this sitehttp://www.slickcar.com/searchresult...ang+hood+scoopand it says that the scoop just tapes on???? whats with that is that how a 2002 gts hood is on? I thought maybe a bolt on??? i dont know please fill me in thanks.

After buying the scoop.. Painting it.. and getting it mounted it just is not going to be worth it. It looks fine without it!

not to me that site sell them painted but they say it gets taped on with double sided tape

Hm well that scoop is going to be catching air and when you go 100+ mph that is going to have to be some pretty damn strong tape i would imagine...

well does the scoop come bolted on from factory?......

just remembr that it will never match exactly. If i were I'd just get a new hood for a few more bucks.

Honestly i have not looked but i will bet you a hamburger that it is! Even though fords quality isnt the greatest im sure they wouldnt 'tape' on a hood scoop...

Seriously... Its not worth it! And if you did really get quoted $500 for a scoop then say *** that! Get a Cobra R hood or something! THose looks sick in my opinion..
