Default Camshaft Conundrum

Hey guys, I was readin the end all thing about cams in the tech section (the reason I posted here was I didnt know if it was still open for questions or w/e) I think ive decided to buy a stage 1 cam for my 03 GT. My question is, would I need to install headers and fix up my intake more before I installed the cam? or would a CAI, and an o/r Xpipe do the trick? Any words of wisdom you guys can give would help alot.

Every add on will help out. The car will run fine without those mods but it will run even better with them. I suggest get them and get a dyno tune once all the parts and cams are in.

A friend of mine has a Stage 1 cams with full exhaust, thing sounds awesome. Oh and remember if you get a N/A cams then you can't put FI on it.

Says who? You can still put a blower or turbo on it. It just won't make as much power as you would if he had a blower cam. And nowhere did he mention anything about FI. All power doesn't come from FI folks.

cams were the last mod i did look at my sig and it has them all listed. I do know that a midpipe helps a ton i had to put on my stock one for emmissions and it felt like it lost 20hp so i think you would be fine w/a cam and a midpipe. Also remember you should get a tune that will help it run alot better.

BS....N?A cams won't hurt a thing. Blower cams just compliment a blower.
