welds on my 2002 gt

Default welds on my 2002 gt

can i fit 15x8 on my car with out changing my rotors calipers etc. the guy from jegs said i have to

i hope so...i just ordered some haha...but i talked to a few people that have them and they never mentioned doing that...atleast for the rear...i think one guy told me i would have to shave down the caliper or something...but im oretty sure the rear will fit fine

The rear 15x8 welds need to have a 5.5 inch backspace an the 15 x10 need 6.5 BS....The front 15 x3 1/2..(skinnies) need at least a 7/16 wheel spacerand you will need to grind the caliper Bracket flat(not much really),,so it doesn't rub the rim on the inside.....

The 15" wheels should bolt right on with no problems provided you got the backspacing correct.

true.... for the most part. You don't need to gring the calipers bracket with a 7/16" spacer, or atleast I didn't have to. And to answer the original question, if you have stock GT brakes you are fine.

7/16's is safer alsobecuase you get 9 full turn of the lugnuts with stock length studs.

Yes,agreed,,Ialso installed the 3 inch wheel studs up front with open endlugs....

Me either, but the back of the wheel is super close. No rubbing tho.
