RE: High Miles
I have an 02 with 100k on it. I put almost 70 miles a day on it for over a year because of my job. The car still runs great, I'm a little more cautious now. If the car was taken care of, I don't see a problem other than just being aware of the miles.Have you had a chance to drive the car? If you have a buddy who knows a little about these cars, have him go with you to check it out.

these engines can last a long time if taken care of. When you check out the car look for the little things. See how the engine bay looks. Check out the paint job. Check to see if the door jams and running boards are clean. Also make sure to ask him whats been replaced on the car. Coil packs are a problem on stangs so see if they were replaced. Maybe see if he will let your mechanic take a look at the car before you buy. When you are test driving the car check and see how the tranny feels.

RE: High Miles
I bought my stang with 79,000 Miles on it and i just crossed the 100,000 mark, ha kinda depressing but really i keep up on all the maintence and it runs better then i bought it. I still beat on it when needed ha never hurts. So i say if the body is good. You should get it, you always can drop a new engine into it.
